Advertising copy may be submitted in several ways:

 

  • FTP your text and photos to Prevue through our website.� In order to accomplish this, you will need to have an ftp client (a program to handle the file transfer) such as SmartFTP.� You may download a program for free at our Tech Support�page to use for file transfer.

Need�an�FTP Account with Prevue?

Fill out this form or email us to request an ftp account and password for the transfer.� FTP is especially useful (and a great time saver!) if you are transferring a large number of files at once.� No more having your email returned undelivered because the file was too large!

  • Email text and photos to Prevue at this email address.� Photos should be in .jpg format at a resolution of at least 300 dpi for the photo size you intend to run in the magazine.� Ad copy may be typed into the body of this email, with photos attached as file attachments, or you may simply attach your MS Word (.doc), WordPerfect (.wpd), Excel (.xls), or PDF file to the email as a file attachment as well.� Please be sure to send your photos to Prevue as SEPARATE .jpg file attachments -- do not simply incorporate the photos into your Word document alone.� Photos cannot be extracted from Word documents and retain their quality for publication.

A note about file name conventions for photos you send to Prevue:� Please name each photo with the property address (e.g., 2345First.jpg or 2345EasyStreet-LivingRoom.jpg).� This will make it possible for us to identify and locate your photos for future reruns of your ad without requiring you to resubmit your photos for use in future months.

  • Fax your ad copy to Prevue at (903) 893-2503.� Only text may be faxed -- photos must be emailed, hand delivered, or mailed.
  • Hand Deliver your ad copy and/or photos to the GTAR Board office at the corner of Peyton and Loy Lake Road in Sherman (across from the U.S. Post Office), or to our home office at 822 FM 1417 North, Sherman TX 75092.
  • Mail hard copy, photos and/or payments to Prevue Magazine at P.O. Box 1275, Sherman TX 75091-1275.

Ad Proofs will be returned to you as soon as feasible by one of two methods:

  • Faxed to you.� Please provide us with your current fax number.� Keep in mind that faxed proofs may be difficult to read in some instances.
  • Emailed to you as a .pdf file.� Please provide us with your current email address.� Ad proofs that are emailed are much clearer and easier to read.� Also, if your ad is to be run in full color, you will be able to see the proof in full color (as it will appear in the magazine).� Please remember that ad proofs forwarded to you in .pdf format are the creative product of Prevue Magazine, Inc., and as such may not be submitted for print in other publications.
